THOMAS “STONE” OGEDAI
EARTHLING (40 year old male) is a slave of Venessa Subatai, both as a prized fighter in the rings as well as for her own pleasure. He becomes part of Earthling’s underground resistance. He is not a big man, though he earns his name. He does not speak in season 1. His character is as strong willed as he is strong. He is a kind gentle man in his heart, but those traits have no place in the world he has found himself in. He is an expert in martial arts and a fearsome fighter when he needs to be.
EXTENDED
Stone is an alias given to an incredible man of will and strength. He was captured in the Settlements during the early stages of the integration process of Ahkam. Timur Subatai, seeing the potential of humans in the fighting rings, began taking prisoners from the Settlements through covert operations. These kidnappings remained unknown to the official government of Ahkam for many months during the chaotic stage of relocating Earthlings to Ahkam.
In capturing Stone no Ahkamian could have possibly known the incredible fighter that they captured. Though small in stature no one could match his unparalleled skill. During his capture, Stone took a vow of silence, it was believed he was mute. He was a master of the art of Wing Chun, a style of fighting that was created by the ancient Chinese of Earth. Origins of Wing Chun remain unclear, as Wing Chun has been passed from teacher to student verbally rather than in writing, making it difficult to confirm differing accounts of the martial art's creation.
It is unclear whether earthlings that migrated to Ahkam were even aware of Stone's advanced knowledge in martial arts. However the knowledge managed to survive the Lost Age, and into the last years of Earth. Stone had been chosen to carry on this technique and pay homage to all of the greats that came before him. His role in the successful integration of humans would be tested to the limit. Surviving the fighting rings was only the beginning of Stone's role in this historical clash of two worlds.
