BRAHMA WATERS

-EARTHLING (65 year old male) is tall with a chiseled face. He is the father-in-law to Rayn and the grandfather to Batu and Mina. As a young man he served in the military as an elite soldier and served as a SEAR specialist training soldiers in survival tactics. After leaving the military, he put his heart and soul into his other love, literature, and became an acclaimed English Professor, he is a wonderful writer and storyteller. Brahma is strong willed and cares greatly for his grandchildren. He has eyes that always speak more than he does. He and President Reece share a close connection as two single, older people who left everything behind in a Hail Mary attempt at a new life.

Brahma Waterss, is the father of Rayn’s wife Diana  When Rayn met Diana and her father they were both working with the A.R.C.C.  Brahma accepted Rayn as a son and Rayn took the Waterss name.  Brahma’s involvement with the A.R.C.C was peripheral while his daughter was a seasoned career pilot.  Brahma, ex-military, was an English professor and a writer in the middle years of his life but he had to leave that life behind due to secrets he was carrying about the escape from Earth.

He managed a small outpost and domed farm on an island in the Caribbean. Brahma would hold secret meetings for the A.R.C.C.’s spy network and maintained a healthy reserve of food.  Brahma became the primary care giver for Rayn and Diana’s children, Batu and Mina as the war with the rebels reached a fever pitch. As the war raged, the family was forced underground to a secret location. Brahma, was always quick to weave a tale around the fire and was beloved by his compatriots and family.  After the loss of his daughter, he was given her spot on the A.R.C.C. ship, leaving everything behind to spend the rest of his life caring for his grandchildren and to help the humans settle in their new world.
